As a candidate for admission, you are evaluated individually and admitted to the college on the basis of your motivation, scholastic achievement, and honest desire to join a health care profession. In making its decision, the Sherman College Admission Committee reviews your academic credentials and personal references.
Sherman College admits only applicants who meet all the qualifications for a chiropractic education. Every candidate for admission is given serious consideration and notified of the decision of the college's Admission Committee once the admission process is complete.
CCAT: The Sherman College Admission Committee strongly recommends that prospective students complete the Chiropractic College Assessment Test (CCAT), a product of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. This assessment will provide measures of your ability in quantitative reasoning skills, biology, chemistry, and physics.
This test can be an important tool for you as a prospective student of chiropractic. The results of the CCAT are highly correlated with success in chiropractic college; however, CCAT is not required for admission to Sherman College.
