It is our mission to provide a resource to assist you in making a knowledgeable decision concerning your financial aid.
Sherman College or its financial aid staff have not been implicated or been investigated concerning practices of the student loan industry.
Our financial aid staff does not receive any type of compensation or incentive to recommend a particular lender nor does the college itself.
It is our intention to be the student’s advocate and help you make informed decisions concerning your choice of lender.
The financial aid staff will provide information requested on any lender and the benefits that they offer.
Scholarships are available from a variety of sources including the college. We will provide you with the sources, requirements and deadlines of the scholarships available.
The financial aid staff will provide information concerning the Federal Work-study Program and the jobs available.
The financial aid staff will supply the student with a transcript of their loans to date at any time they are requested.
The financial aid staff will conduct itself in a professional manner and will maintain confidentiality at all times.
The financial aid staff promises to award aid in the form of your federal borrowing options and exhaust these options before using higher-cost private loans.
The financial aid staff will make every effort to provide prompt and courteous customer service with the student’s best interest at heart.
