Ron Castellucci, D.C.
Castellucci is an associate professor of clinical sciences and full spine instructor at Sherman College. He teaches Toggle II and Children and Chiropractic. Castellucci has nearly 20 years of practice experience and has taught nationally and internationally on chiropractic technique and practice.
 

Bill Decken, D.C., LCP
Decken is an associate professor of clinical sciences and chair of the philosophy department at Sherman College. He has a B.A. from Marist College (1979) and a D.C. from Sherman College where he has taught Philosophy I and II, Subluxation Theories and Communications since his graduation in 1986. Decken is founder and president of the Palmetto State Chiropractic Association (PSCA), past president and member of the Federation of Straight Chiropractors and Organizations (FSCO) and a member of the South Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Decken was awarded Chiropractor of the Year by Sherman College, FSCO and PSCA in 1998.

 

James Demetrious, D.C., FACO
Demetrious is a chiropractic orthopedist, author and lecturer. He graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1986 and has worked in clinical practice for 20 years. Demetrious won a teaching fellowship in anatomy, was asked to contribute to the ACA Sports Diplomat curriculum, and served as a contributing editor to a chiropractic journal. His interests include anatomy and advanced diagnostic testing protocols that define and validate the chiropractic subluxation.
 

Dean DePice, D.C.
DePice is the author of Speak OUT, a complete step-by-step program to deliver the highest quality outside talks and results in generating new patients. His company, Team and Life Conditioning for Superteams (TLC), is an international coaching and practice consultant company building “superteams” to achieve unprecedented results for chiropractors throughout the world.

 

Joe Donofrio, D.C.
Donofrio is an assistant professor of clinical sciences and chair of the Technique Department at Sherman College. A 1994 graduate of Sherman, Donofrio received the prestigious Milton W. Garfunkel Award at graduation. He joined the college faculty in 1997 and, in addition to his service as a faculty doctor in the health center, he has taught Palpation, Spinal Biodynamics I and II and Chiropractic History. Donofrio has lectured internationally on topic of chiropractic philosophy, muscle and motion palpation of the spine.
 

Ray Drury, D.C.
Drury is a second-generation chiropractor who has successfully opened and operated four practices over the past 14 years. He now works full time coaching UCHC (Upper Cervical Health Centers) doctors practicing all over the world using the same turnkey systems he developed for his own offices. Co-founder of Upper Cervical Health Centers, Drury works with the UCHC team to develop new ways to improve upon current systems, build public awareness, and create new products and marketing tools to promote upper cervical care.

 

Bill Fehl, D.C.
Fehl is an associate professor of clinical sciences and a member of the health center faculty at Sherman College. He has a D.C. from Sherman College (1983) and teaches Radioanalysis II, Full Spine I and II, Upper Cervical Contacts and Toggle I and II.
 

Thomas J. Forest, D.C.
Forest is head of the Instruction and Technique Committee for the Blair Chiropractic Society and has spoken at 107 engagements ranging from upper cervical philosophy and x-ray analysis to adjusting techniques. The Palmer College graduate has been published in The Digest of Chiropractic Economics and The Physician and Sportsmedicine.

 

Thomas A. Gelardi, D.C.
Gelardi is the founder and first president of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic. Gelardi founded the college in 1973, fulfilling a long-standing dream of advancing the chiropractic profession centered on the vertebral subluxation. He led Sherman’s progress for nearly three decades, serving as president until 1997 and later as member and chair of the Board of Trustees from 1997-2002. He also served as Interim President from 2005-2007.
 

Tonine Gelardi, D.C.
Gelardi is an assistant professor of clinical sciences. After graduating from Sherman College (1980), she served as an instructor at the college for four years. She rejoined Sherman in 2007 after practicing in Columbia, SC, for 22 years. Gelardi has been an instructor in continuing education courses in toggle recoil adjusting, upper cervical contacts, patterning and case management, chiropractic care for children, palpation, x-ray and philosophy.

Harold (Skip) H. George, Jr., D.C., L.C.P.
George has maintained a successful chiropractic practice for many years at George’s Chiropractic Health Center in Lancaster, PA. An international lecturer who has appeared at the Bermuda Chiropractic Society and the Canada Chiropractic Society, George played a role in founding the Pennsylvania College of Straight Chiropractic. George is a regular presenter at New Beginnings and Living Principle Chiropractic. He graduated magna cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1969 and was inducted into the Legion of Chiropractic Philosophers in 2004.
 

Cynthia B. Gibbon, BA, MT (ASCP), D.C.
Gibbon is a Sherman College graduate and associate professor. She teaches Laboratory Diagnosis, Physical Exam and First Aid and has been with Sherman College since 1986. Gibbon is a medical technologist for Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. For more than 20 years she has been a member of the Junior League of Spartanburg and a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
 

Cheryl Goble, D.C.
President of Goble Heal Chiropractic, Inc. Goble graduated from Life Chiropractic College in 1981. She is contributing author to Pediatric Chiropractic textbook, Textbook of Clinical Chiropractic: A Specific Biomechanical Approach and In the Footsteps of Dr. “G.” Goble is a frequent lecturer to chiropractic students on domestic and international college campuses on the topics of chiropractic philosophy, Gonstead chiropractic and chiropractic for children.

Kimberly Goreham
Goreham has worked in the chiropractic field for more than 15 years, following a life-transforming chiropractic experience which saved the life of her child. Inspired to make a difference in her community, Goreham began her career as a massage therapist working in a chiropractic office in 1993 after graduating from Pacific College of Healing Arts. She later went back to college and received a certificate in small business management and marketing. In 1998 Goreham and her husband Don started their own chiropractic marketing company called ChiroWorks, which has educated more than 300,000 people about the benefits of chiropractic care. Goreham speaks to thousands of chiropractors each year and teaches chiropractors and their teams how to effectively communicate the healing message of chiropractic care.

Rob Kessinger, D.C.
Kessinger has been published in several leading chiropractic journals, including JMPT, Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research, Today’s Chiropractic and Chiropractic Research Journal. He is a member of the College of the Upper Cervical Spine Diplomate program. Kessinger was awarded Instructor of the Year for the Kale Network in 1994 and 1997. He is the founder of the KCUCS (Knee Chest Upper Cervical Specific) Masters Certification Program as well as the KCUCS World Missions, a group dedicated to bringing upper cervical care to impoverished places around the globe. He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1988 and actively runs a successful upper cervical chiropractic clinic in Cape Girardeau, MO.
 

Peter Kevorkian and Patti Giuliano, D.C.s
For more than 20 years, Kevorkian and Giuliano have shared an extraordinary practice in Westwood, MA. They have hosted the Massachusetts Alliance for Chiropractic Philosophy (MACP) for more than 10 years and sponsor monthly “Philosophy Nights” at their home/office. The Massachusetts Chiropractic Society named Kevorkian and Giuliano Chiropractors of the Year in 2003. The couple teaches internationally on chiropractic philosophy, children and chiropractic and family practice.

David Koch, D.C., DPhCS
David B. Koch graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in 1980, taught in its D.C. program from 1981 on, and went on to become its senior vice president in 1996 and president of Sherman College in 1997. He resigned his presidency in October 2000 and joined the Palmer College Philosophy faculty in 2001. In May 2002, he was named vice president for professional and international affairs for the Palmer Chiropractic University System. He earned his Diplomate in Philosophic Chiropractic Standards (DPhCS) in November 2005. In January 2006 he was appointed professor of philosophy in the Division of Chiropractic Sciences of Life University’s College of Chiropractic. He is currently working on an extensive reinterpretation and modernization of chiropractic’s traditional metaphysical paradigm.
 

Pat Kuhta, D.C.
Kuhta, a 1994 Sherman College graduate, is an associate professor of clinical sciences and a member of the health center faculty at the college. She teaches X-Ray Analysis and Atlas Orthogonal.
 

 

 

Nalyn Marcus, D.C.
Marcus, a 1990 graduate of Sherman College and recipient of the B.J. Palmer Philosophy Distinction Award, has been dubbed the “idea lady,” as she has developed numerous events and concepts to help bring the chiropractic message to communities nationwide. She has received numerous awards for her work and dedication for chiropractic. Marcus is a board member of the Federation of Straight Chiropractors and Organizations. She has maintained a private practice for 15 years in Bethlehem, PA, and offers family care in English, Spanish and American Sign Language.

Brian McAulay, D.C., Ph.D.
McAulay has served as provost at Life University since 2004. He is the former vice president for academic affairs at the Palmer Chiropractic University System, overseeing academic and student affairs operations at three campuses. He previously served on the faculty of Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic and also served as dean of post-graduate education, department chair and faculty senate chair. McAulay holds a Ph.D. in management from Temple University, a D.C. from Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic and a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Toronto. His conference presentations and publications cross a number of management and chiropractic areas of exploration. He has served on the Board of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic since 2000.
 

 

Matt McCoy, D.C.
McCoy has spent the better part of the past 19 years focused on exploring the clinical and scientific facets of vertebral subluxation. He is a strong advocate of objective outcome assessment tools to evaluate subluxation both clinically and from a research perspective. A clinician, researcher and educator, McCoy’s professional interests also include public health, health policy and health outcomes research. He is currently editor-in-chief of the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research, an assistant professor of clinical sciences at Life University, and has been teaching a research methods course to chiropractic students for nearly a decade.

Tony Palermo, D.C.
Success Coach Palermo is one of the world’s top experts in helping professionals create the lifestyle of their dreams. Palermo has operated two highly successful 100-percent cash, 100-percent referral/members-only practices. He is a past team teacher for the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance’s Total Solution program and author of more than 100 published articles.

 

Marc G. Pick, D.C., F.I.C.S.
Pick is a doctor of chiropractic with a private practice in Beverly Hills, CA, since 1973. He holds Diplomat and Fellowship status in Craniopathy through the International Craniopathic Society sponsored by the Sacro-Occipital Research Society International (SORSI) and has lectured throughout the United States and around the world since 1979. One of his proudest accomplishments was his creation of a latex fiber optic model of the human central and peripheral nervous system, which was placed on loan to the Wellcome Trust for their 2002 exhibit displayed at the Museum of Science in London. His text, Cranial Sutures, was recently published and released through Eastland Press.

Simon Senzon, D.C.
Having published six peer-reviewed articles and two books, Senzon has been writing about the history and philosophy of chiropractic for the last 10 years. A 1999 graduate of Sherman College, Senzon takes the wisdom from the Palmers and makes it relevant for today’s chiropractors so that they can apply it to their lives, their practices and hopefully to the future of the profession. Senzon is in private practice in Asheville, NC, where he teaches in the Arts and Ideas Program at the University of North Carolina. In addition, he teaches for Sherman College’s Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers program.
 

Fred Schofield, D.C.
Schofield has a uniqueness, excitement and intensity about him. From playing professional rugby in Italy to instructing in the South African Defense Force, he is widely regarded as the world’s leading authority in the field of situational and conceptual chiropractic thinking and the direct application to chiropractic practice. Schofield now lives and practices in Phoenix, AZ.
 

Susan Schofield, B.S., R.Ph.
Being a mom, wife, inventor, professor and philosopher has given Susan Schofield the vision and leadership skills to be an expert in high volume, multi-million dollar chiropractic offices. Since 1983 Schofield has been dedicated to helping other chiropractors, their spouses and staff break the barriers of mediocrity. She is the CFO and co-founder of Atlas Chiropractic Center and Schofield Management Training.
 

Nick Spano, D.C.
Author of the instruction manual on Advanced Muscle Palpation, Spano pioneered the recognition that there is a homeostatic mechanism underlying the muscular responses to subluxation. Over the last 25 years, Spano has been a postgraduate instructor in Advanced Muscle Palpation for numerous chiropractic organizations and Chiropractic colleges. He currently serves the communities of Canton and Wysox, PA, in private practice.


 

Robert J. Stokem, M.A.
Stokem is an instructor of communication at Spartanburg Community College and was awarded the Educator of the Year Award in 2008. He has a M.A. in communication specializing in interpersonal and intercultural communication from the University of Albany.
 

Joe Strauss, D.C.
Strauss has been executive director of the Foundation for the Advancement of Chiropractic Education (FACE) for more than 20 years. He is editor of the quarterly professional publication, Pivot Review. Strauss has written many articles and books, including Chiropractic Philosophy and The Green Book Commentaries, and has given numerous educational and historical presentations around the world. He has maintained a large private practice in Levittown, PA, since 1967.

Leslie Van Romer, D.C.
Van Romer, a Sherman College graduate, is the author of brand new weight-loss, body-best book, Getting Into Your Pants, and companion workbook, Getting Into Your Pants PlayBook. She is a motivational speaker, writer of a weekly e-letter called Dr. Leslie’s Lifelines, author of online e-course called The Body You Want Wants You Too – Finally Say Goodbye to Yo-Yo Diets and Lose Weight Forever. She has produced her own series of CDs and DVDs on a wide-range of health topics and has spent 30 years building and directing a thriving almost-100-percent cash practice in Sequim, WA.
 

Leslie M. Wise, D.C.
Wise graduated from the University of California in 1966 and from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1974. He has served as an administrator and faculty member at Sherman College for 34 years and is currently professor of Clinical Sciences. Wise has served on the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners test committees for Part II, Part IV and Ethics and Boundaries. He was a member of the South Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners for eight years and provides expert standard-of-care testimony in chiropractic malpractice cases.
