Sherman College to Host Health Enhancement
Nights
Sherman College's Chiropractic Health Center
will promote awareness in
Spartanburg and its surrounding communities by
offering Health
Enhancement Nights with varying topics of
interest in July, August and
September. These events are open to the public
and free.
"These programs are aimed at promoting health
awareness in our community
and educating the public about the benefits of
regular chiropractic
care," says the college's Director of Community
Relations Linda Price.
"We also plan to show the public that
chiropractic care is for the whole
family, including children. And, for those who
are not familiar with
chiropractic, we hope that they'll learn the
importance of preventative
maintenance care."
Price notes that current health center patients
will benefit from the
talks because the "health nights" are an
extension of the education they
receive as part of the patient experience. The
Health Enhancement Nights
will also give the college's interns the chance
to enhance the
communication and public speaking skills that
they will need in private
practice. "It's a win-win," she says.
Health Enhancement Nights will begin at 6:00
p.m. sharp on the following
dates:
July 8, 15, 22, 29
August 5, 12, 19, 27
September 2, 9
For directions or details, please contact the

Chiropractic Health Center, at 864-578-8777.
