Sherman College of Chiropractic educates, graduates and supports doctors of chiropractic that are competent, compassionate, ethical and successful. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, in the Upstate part of South Carolina, Sherman offers a graduate program that is unique in its focus on chiropractic philosophy, and that is known globally for the skill and art of chiropractic delivered by graduates. The small student population assures personal attention and a family-friendly atmosphere for student activities. The cost of living in this area makes Sherman more affordable than other chiropractic colleges, which attracts students from as many as 34 states and 11 countries. The research department offers opportunities for faculty, students and alumni to prepare and publish research, through local facilities and in collaboration with other area colleges and universities.
Sherman College offers an integrated chiropractic educational program focused on preparing students to become fully qualified doctors of chiropractic. Our graduates are prepared to offer effective, safe, affordable, family-oriented chiropractic care to their communities.
Our doctor of chiropractic curriculum places focus on
- philosophically based practice principles
- scientific research into effective chiropractic technique
- the most effective techniques for analyzing and adjusting the vertebral subluxation
- one-on-one mentoring in the clinical arts of chiropractic
