Why did you choose Sherman College?
I chose Sherman College because I agree with the chiropractic philosophy and
the reasoning it teaches. The small school environment and low classroom numbers
also suited me. I have always wanted to help people in some way, and chiropractic
and Sherman seemed to be the perfect fit.
Activities you are involved in at Sherman College:
Diversified Club
Foosball
A.D.A.P.T Club
Favorite thing to do or place to go on a Saturday night:
Hanging out with good friends or playing darts @ Delaney’s in downtown
Spartanburg
Favorite thing about Sherman College:
My favorite thing about Sherman, besides the education, is the small community
feel that it provides the students. It is almost impossible to walk down the
hall and not see a student or teacher that you know or could stop and have a
conversation with.
Most challenging thing about Sherman College:
The school work is all do-able if the student puts the time into the class.
Advice for students choosing chiropractic as a career and/or coming to Sherman
College:
My advice, being only a fourth quarter student, is to definitely pursue a chiropractic
career and give Sherman a chance. Also, even though I am a bit biased toward
Sherman, you should research all of the schools to find out where you fit in.
Ask each school where it stands on chiropractic philosophy and the profession.
