Student E-mail Accounts Enhance Communication

JANUARY 18, 2001 -   Every Sherman College student now enjoys college-sponsored e-mail - the realization of a long-term goal of the college and answer to numerous student requests. Their addresses consist of the students’ first initial and last name, then @shermancollege.net (John Smith’s e-mail address, for example, would be jsmith@shermancollege.net.) Students can access their e-mail accounts from on or off campus.

Providing students with free e-mail will further enhance the college’s communication and outreach efforts with current students. The college also hopes to increase on-line communication between prospective students and current students who serve as career guides and ambassadors for the Admission Office.
