Alumnus Roxzanne Breland Appointed to S.C.
Vocational Rehabilitation Board
AUGUST 19, 2002 - Roxzanne Breland, D.C.,
a 1986 graduate of Sherman College, recently
became the first doctor of chiropractic ever
appointed to the South Carolina Vocational
Rehabilitation Board. The appointment, submitted
by Governor Jim Hodges, was confirmed by the
South Carolina Senate on June 6.
The South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation
Department serves S.C. residents who want to
work but are hindered from doing so by a
physical or mental disability.
Breland has been a licensed chiropractor since
her graduation and has offices in Greer,
Greenville and Simpsonville, SC.
She recently completed a decade of service on
the South Carolina Chiropractic Association’s
Board of Directors and has been a member of the
association since 1991. Breland is also a
charter member of the South Carolina Radiation
Quality Standards Association Board of
Directors.
