2nd Annual College Town Reading Set for April
24
Students from Spartanburg’s Colleges to Read
Original Works
Sherman student Dee Dee Brown will join seven
fellow Spartanburg college students when she
participates in the 2nd Annual College Town
Reading on Sunday, April 24, at 7 p.m. at
Wofford College. The event is free and open to
the public.
The readings of student original poetry and
essays will take place in the Olin Teaching
Theater in the Franklin W. Olin Building on
Wofford’s campus.

Kelly Mohon, Wofford College
College Town is a consortium of
Spartanburg County’s six colleges – Converse
College, Sherman College, Spartanburg Methodist
College, Spartanburg Technical College, the
University of South Carolina Upstate and Wofford
College – and the City of Spartanburg. The
consortium produce academic, social and service
events designed to strengthen the relationships
of the campuses and the community.
