Prospective Students “Shadow an Intern” for
Groundhog Day at Sherman College
While they may not be able to participate in the
Groundhog Day festivities in Punxsutawney, PA,
prospective students can spend the day at
Sherman College at the 2nd Annual Shadow an
Intern for Groundhog Day on February 2, 2006, in
Spartanburg, SC.
Aspiring chiropractors will arrive on campus at
12:30 p.m. for lunch with their interns in
Sandella’s Café. Then they will spend the
afternoon in the Health Center with the interns
seeing patients, updating records, viewing
x-rays and learning more about chiropractic at
our daily health talk seminars. They will learn
more about our Academy of Chiropractic
Excellence (ACE), X-Ray Internship (XRI) and
Patient Education Internship Program (PEIP)
interns as well.
What better way for aspiring D.C.s to learn what
life at Sherman College is all about than to
spend the day with a student? This is an
opportunity prospective students cannot afford
to miss. For students who can’t make it to
Sherman on February 2, the college will connect
them with doctors of chiropractic near their
hometowns so they can shadow them in a private
office setting instead.
To register a prospective student for Shadow an
Intern Day or for more information, call Lisa
Hildebrand in the Admission Office at
800-849-8771, ext. 222, or email
Lhildebrand@sherman.edu.
