Sherman College Presents Fireworks, Career Day, Community Workshop

as Part of Homecoming Celebration – All Free and Open to the Public

As part of its annual homecoming program, Lyceum, Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic invites the public to participate in several exciting activities leading up to Memorial Day Weekend:

Fireworks

Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic will hold a fireworks celebration on Friday, May 25, at approximately 10 p.m. Local community members are welcome to attend. Limited parking will be available in the Health Center parking lot at 2020 Springfield Road. For more information, call 864-578-8770, ext. 229.

Career Day

Visit us and see for yourself why Fast Company magazine has named chiropractic as one of its top ten jobs. Find out more about what it takes to begin a career as a doctor of chiropractic at Sherman College on Saturday, May 26, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., at Career Day. Attendees of this free program will meet chiropractors, faculty and current students and hear about the key roles that chiropractic and Sherman College have played in their lives. Observe hands-on chiropractic technique presentations, have your transcripts evaluated and learn more about financial aid, job placement and available scholarships. Community Workshop

Join chiropractic legend Reggie Gold, D.C., Ph.C., for an informal community workshop Wednesday, May 23, from 7-8 p.m., and learn how chiropractic contributes to overall health and helps the body perform at its best. Gold is known worldwide for his many presentations over the past 40 years as a dynamic chiropractic lecturer and educator, inspiring and educating chiropractic patients, chiropractors and their staffs. Learn how chiropractic can help you by removing nerve interference and allowing your body to express its maximum potential for health. Attendees will receive a free visit coupon to the college’s on-campus Health Center and enjoy a free spinal screening and analysis. Door prizes will be awarded and light refreshments will be served. The college’s annual Lyceum (homecoming) is an educational extravaganza attended by chiropractors throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held each Memorial Day Weekend on the college’s campus in Spartanburg and involves four days of seminars, special events and other programs. This event attracts approximately 800 attendees. Directions to Sherman College from Downtown Spartanburg

From downtown Spartanburg, take Pine Street (Hwy. 176) North toward Inman. After crossing over both Interstate 85s (business and bypass), go about a mile. Ingles will be on your right. At the traffic light by Ingles, turn right onto Springfield Road. Sherman College is about 1˝ miles on the right.
