Hildebrand Named VP for Enrollment at Sherman College

Lisa A. Hildebrand has been named vice president for enrollment services and is spearheading Sherman College’s efforts to build student interest in chiropractic as a career and increase enrollment in the doctor of chiropractic program.

“Lisa has been a key leader on our admission team for more than 10 years, and we are fortunate to have the opportunity to call on her in-depth knowledge of Sherman College and the chiropractic profession,” said President Jon Schwartzbauer, D.C. “We welcome her as a member of our administrative team and look forward to her contributions as vice president for enrollment services.”

Hildebrand has been with Sherman College since 1997, when she joined the staff as an admission administrative assistant and later admission counselor. In 2000, she was promoted to director of admission, carrying out the day-to-day management of the Admission Office. She holds a master’s degree in counseling from Webster University and a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Rhode Island. Hildebrand teaches Sherman College’s Abnormal Psychology course.

During her tenure in the Sherman Admission Office, Hildebrand has served as international student advisor; facilitated numerous 3+1 admission agreements with other colleges; created the My Scholarship program; helped expand the college’s undergraduate recruiting efforts; worked to build chiropractic student referrals; implemented social networking (instant messaging, blogs, and presences on sites such as Twitter, Facebook and more) into the office’s daily operations; and improved the college’s communications flow with prospective students. Hildebrand is currently working with Public Relations and the college’s marketing firm to redesign the college’s recruitment and marketing materials.

She chairs both the Admission and Scholarship Committees and plays an active role in several other college committees, including Accommodation Review, Administrative Council, Facilities Planning, Information Technology and Strategic Planning.
