Sherman College Names Chiropractor of the Year, Regent of the Year, and Other Award Recipients

Sherman College honored more than a dozen chiropractors and other professionals during its annual Lyceum, a homecoming and educational program attended by chiropractors throughout the U.S. and internationally. The college is proud to announce the following 2008 award recipients:

Patricia Giuliano, D.C.,  & Peter Kevorkian D.C., were named Chiropractors of the Year, an honor bestowed upon a chiropractor who has, through his or her service, given extraordinary time and effort to advance Sherman College and the straight chiropractic profession.
Drs. Giuliano and Kevorkian have a family practice, Westwood Family Chiropractic in Westwood, Massachusetts. Together they care for families and their pets in a beautiful home office setting.
Dr. Giuliano is a 1982 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Life Chiropractic College and Dr. Kevorkian is a 1982 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. They hold memberships in the

In addition, Dr. Giuliano is a member of the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Chiropractors where she held a variety of positions and the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice where she currently serves on the Board of Directors.
They are Sherman Ambassadors and members of the Board of Regents. Dr. Kevorkian is currently a member of the Lyceum Planning Committee and helped plan this year’s event.
They are frequent speakers at Sherman’s Lyceum, New Beginnings Philosophy weekends, Triune Seminars, Massachusetts Chiropractic Society conventions and recently at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic.
They have received numerous awards throughout their careers and we are pleased to add Sherman’s Chiropractors of the Year in 2009.

Regent of the Year: Dr. John Hilpisch

Dr. John Hilpisch is a 1987 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic. He owns and operates Hilpisch Upper Cervical Chiropractic, Inc in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. He holds membership in the:

Dr. Hilpisch serves on Sherman’s Board of Trustees and Board of Regents. He is active in fundraising for the college and has referred three new Regents to Sherman this year. He also referred his daughter Francis to Sherman. She is currently a 7th quarter student.
