Interactive Skeletal Anatomy Exploration

This project uses computer models to help explore skeletal anatomy. You will need a VRML viewer such as Cortona VRML Client or 3D Media viewer to access these models. Select a model from the list below and use the viewer tools to study the model from different viewpoints.

Models of Individual bones:

1. Upper Cervical
• The Occiput (the base of the skull)
• The Atlas (first cervical)
• The Axis (second cervical)
2. Pelvic
   • The Sacrum
   • The Coccyx
   • The Left Ilium

Articulated Models:

• The base of the skull with misaligned axis
• The Pelvis

Animated Models:

• The base of the skull with atlas misaligned in a Blair-style pattern
• The base of the skull with atlas misaligned in an HIO/Grostic laterality & rotation pattern
