  Chiropractic One of Fast Company’s Top Five Jobs
  A recent article in Fast Company magazine confirms what many recent Sherman graduates and current students already know – becoming a doctor of chiropractic is a great career choice. It’s number four on the list, to be exact. Fast Company relied on the work of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Salary.com, and an innovation expert to evaluate top jobs for 2005. Jobs were evaluated based on four categories: job growth, salary potential, education level and room for innovation. Read the article here.

  National Health Service Corps Chiropractor Project Update
  The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) is continuing with its Demonstration Project, for fiscal year 2005 only, to award loan repayment to a special group of chiropractors who agree to serve underserved populations in primary care health professional shortage areas (HPSAs) throughout the United States.  READ MORE  
  Sherman Students, Regional Poets Compete at Spine Tingling Poetry Slam
  The hottest regional poets and wannbes – including two Sherman College students – competed at Sherman’s first-ever Spine Tingling Poetry Slam held at Sandella’s Café in downtown Spartanburg on Saturday evening, February 26. Kimberly Simms of Wits End Poetry and Greenville (SC) Slammaster hosted the event.  READ MORE

  Heyer, Wright Awarded ABCA Scholarships
  Recently two Sherman students, Gayle Heyer and Shamva Wright, were pleasantly surprised to learn that they were named recipients of the Harvey Lillard Scholarship from the American Black Chiropractic Association (ABCA). The awards were presented to Heyer and Wright at the Winter Bagelfest celebration in late January. READ MORE
