Sherman Hosts Community Easter Egg Hunt
by Dean of Student Affairs Stacy Flowers

Approximately 100 children converged on the Sherman College campus when the Office of Student Affairs hosted Sherman College’s Second Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 12, 2005. The Student Affairs staff, along with the assistance of students Kristen Denette and Dan Hall, plus Sherman friends Darryl and Ryan Flowers, hid eggs on that cold March morning, in winds estimated to be approximately 30 mph.

The Egg Hunt began promptly at 11:00 am. Children ages 4 and under searched for eggs in the field behind the Olsen Building, while children ages 5-10 searched for eggs on the hill behind the Scallon Building. Easter baskets and bunnies were awarded to the children who retrieved special eggs in each of the age categories.

And the race is on!

This thing is almost as big as me!
