Hardee Named Chancellor at Sherman

Within two weeks after his retirement
announcement, former Sherman College President Jerry L. Hardee, Ed.D., decided
he wouldn’t be going too far. Hardee, the college’s third president, has
rejoined the college as chancellor, a position that keeps him intimately
involved with the college but still allows him the valuable retirement time he
has craved.

$10,000 Putting Contest Adds to Excitement
to Hit ’Em Straight Golf Tournament

Many hopeful
golfers will try their hands at winning a large cash prize during the Carolina
First $10,000 Putting Contest at Sherman’s Eighth Annual Hit ’Em Straight Golf
Tournament. The tournament, presented by Ed-Invest, will be held Thursday,
September 1, 2005, at River Falls Plantation in nearby Duncan, SC. The
tournament will be a four-person, captain’s choice format with 11:00 a.m.
shotgun start.

Barwell Donates InVision Unit for Sherman
Research

Richard Barwell, D.C., founder and president of Chiropractic
Equity Offices (CEO), Inc., recently donated an InVision instrument to the
Sherman College Research Department for use in research projects. The unit,
valued at approximately $15,000, will be helpful in assessing autonomic nerve
function pre- and post-adjustment.READ

chiropractic assistants tools to enhance their practice and promote The Sherman
Package. This collaborative seminar is an interesting blend of the chiropractic
principles, patient education and adjusting techniques: elements that are
crucial in building and maintaining a successful practice.
