The Carolina First $10,000 Putting Contest takes place during Thursday’s tournament. The contest is free and open to the public (no current or former golf professionals may enter). Participants can take a free swing to qualify for the $10,000 grand prize. There is also an option to buy additional chances to qualify. Qualifying occurs from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; an elimination round starts at 5:00 and the final putt for $10,000 will happen at 5:15.

Proceeds from the tournament and putting contest will be used for scholarships, equipment upgrades, research and endowment support at Sherman College.
