Sherman College’s
Fall Visit Day is fast approaching and will be held this Friday, October 14,
2005, at 10 am. This event helps give prospective students an idea of what it’s
like to be a doctor of chiropractic student and helps them learn what our
chiropractic program is all about.
Prospective students will tour the
campus with student tour guides, speak with faculty members, enjoy lunch from
Sandella’s Café, chat with current Sherman students and even attend classes.
While they are here, they will also learn more about chiropractic during a
technique presentation with several faculty members.
We recommend that
prospective students bring transcripts so that an admission counselor can start
an evaluation with them and help to plan their schedules. They will also find
out the details of admission requirements and financial aid and can apply for
admission while they are here.
If you have practice members or other
prospective students who may be interested in a career as a doctor of
chiropractic, why not suggest that they attend Fall Visit Day? Students should
register in advance by calling 800-849-8771, ext. 200, or e-mailing
careerday@sherman.edu. They can also register online at
www.sherman.edu/careerday.
What if your students can’t make it to the
Fall Visit Day? Have them schedule a personal visit to campus online at
www.sherman.edu/edu/admissions/schedule_visit.html.
