The world has changed considerably in the past 100 years. With so many developments in science and technology, the 33 principles remain the foundation of chiropractic. How can they be best applied to advance the chiropractic profession?

Join us as we re-visit the disciplines of deductive reasoning and vitalism and evaluate them for relevance and application as you listen, question, and synthesize current thinking in biology, genetics, chiropractic research, adaptability, biochemistry and anatomy. In addition, the Academy is committed to helping you become the writer and speaker you desire to be and that the profession needs.

The Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers is a one-year course designed to enhance the understanding and depth of chiropractic philosophy. The one-year course will challenge and inspire you to learn and think more than ever about chiropractic philosophy and its relationship to the above-down-inside-out worldview.

The program consists of five live sessions to be presented at Sherman College, beginning at Lyceum May 25-28. The course offerings are available to all Lyceum attendees and those interested in membership in the Academy are required to attend certain presentations. In addition, there are five online sessions and a thesis requirement culminating at Lyceum 2007.

Successful completion of the program awards the ACP designation, which is accepted by the ICA Council on Chiropractic Philosophy as the first year of study towards a diplomate in Philosophical Chiropractic Standards (DPhCS).

The separateness and distinctness of chiropractic rests on its philosophy. BJ Palmer charged the coming generations of chiropractors to guard well this sacred trust. If you are inclined to take this challenge to heart, join your colleagues in studying to become a member of the Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers.
