Expanded IRAPS
to Become Fall Lyceum Event ---------------------------------------------------------
Exciting new ideas and planning
are underway for an expanded International Research and Philosophy Symposium (IRAPS)
for November 2006 to better serve the continuing education needs of our alumni
and supporters.
"We made the decision late last year to expand the program," says Continuing
Education Director Rebecca Clusserath. "Since then this department, along with
the research and philosophy departments and a committee of faculty and
administrators have worked diligently to create what some might consider a
second Lyceum."
IRAPS will continue to feature scholarly peer-reviewed presentations about
vertebral subluxation and the relationship between science and philosophy, plus
it offers a valuable professional success program and reunion activities for
World Congress of Chiropractic Students alumni.
Featured speakers include cellular biologist and noted author Bruce Lipton,
Ph.D. and Texas A&M University Professor of Sociology Yvonne Villanueva-Russell,
Ph.D.
The International Research and Philosophy Symposium will happen November 3-5,
2006, on the campus of Sherman College. Abstracts are due April 28, 2006. Watch for more details coming this
summer to include a full list of speakers and events. For more information
