The weather is heating up this summer and so is the
selection of continuing education seminars coming up. Whether your needs include
fine-tuning office procedures, brushing up on your technique skills or exploring
your passion for philosophy, Sherman College offers a variety of programs
available to fit your needs. Here’s a peek at what’s coming up this summer.
Susan Brown, Ph.D., D.C., will present a three-part Blair Seminar Series
beginning the weekend of July 15-16 on the Sherman campus. This Blair series
will cover x-ray analysis and setup, leg check and instrumentation, case
management and hands-on adjusting demonstrations for the Blair technique.
The Sherman Package plus Patient Education and Principles is going west this
summer and fall with presentations in Denver, CO, July 15-16 and Seattle, WA,
October 7-8. Join Dick Plummer, D.C., Judy Campanale, D.C., and Ron Castellucci,
D.C., as they share with you and your staff effective education procedures and
communication skills in the office. You’ll also develop skills for adjusting
with a gentler touch and gain greater confidence in your analysis of the spine.
Sherman successfully kicked off its new Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers (ACP)
at Lyceum 2006 in May, and the program’s second live session is scheduled for
August 12-13 on campus. This one-year course is designed to enhance the
understanding, depth and breadth of chiropractic philosophy. The course will
challenge and inspire you to learn and think more than ever about chiropractic
philosophy and its relationship to the above-down-inside-out worldview.
