Sherman alumna Nalyn Russo Marcus, D.C., is compiling a cookbook to sell as a fund-raiser for the Federation of Straight Chiropractors and Organizations’ Sylva Ashworth Scholarship Fund. The cookbook’s working title is “Cooking with Chiropractic, Vol I. – Delicious Recipes from Well-Adjusted Kitchens!”

The Sylva Ashworth Scholarship provides $1,000 scholarships for single mothers to assist with tuition and childcare. Marcus is looking for an assortment of recipes from D.C.s, laypeople and practice members, with a goal for a publishing date in time for the holidays.
