Lyceum 2007, Mission Possible, offers many bright new speakers and topics never
before seen at Sherman College Lyceum. I’d like to highlight a few of them for
you.
Spreading the message and works of chiropractic is a global challenge and two of
our Big Top presenters have impacted different areas of the globe. Brian Kelly,
D.C., president of New Zealand College of Chiropractic, joins us from “down
under” for his inspiring and entertaining message on The Doctor of the Future.
Come see for yourself why he was voted the best guest speaker by the students at
the Auckland Medical School in 2006. Another Big Top speaker, Sherman College
graduate Rajeev Connors, D.C., passionately shares his experiences about a life
of service with chiropractic mission work in India.
Also under the Big Top, Corrine Morgan, D.C., president of the American Black
Chiropractic Association (ABCA), will give an energizing presentation on
leadership and success called The Force: Leadership and Chiropractic – It’s
Up to You! Morgan has been honored many times for her work and dedication in
the chiropractic profession for nearly 20 years, including being named
Chiropractor of the Year by ABCA.
More new names on the Lyceum schedule (but not new to the chiropractic
profession) include Dave Mager, Rob Sinnott, D.C., and Chris Ehlich, D.C. Mager
is author of the book Health Is a Journey. Co-founder and president of
Paradigm Marketing, Mager’s “Marketing Tip of the Month” is featured with the On
Purpose audio series. Rob Sinnot, D.C., L.C.P. has authored and presented
numerous articles and lectures on chiropractic philosophy and currently serves
as chair of the International Chiropractic Association Council on Chiropractic
Philosophy. A frequent guest speaker for chiropractic organizations on patient
education and procedures, Chris Ehlich, D.C., a 1989 graduate of Sherman College
and second-generation chiropractor, serves as vice president of the Palmetto
State Chiropractic Association.
Look for more information on these speakers and their presentations plus a
listing of all Lyceum events at
www.sherman.edu/lyceum.
In addition to many new speakers on the Lyceum schedule, we are eager to
showcase our state-of-the-art
digital x-ray equipment in the Chiropractic Health
Center. The X-Ray Department will present a workshop on the use of film analysis
with the new imaging equipment as well as hands-on utilization of the software
being demonstrated. Additionally, we will offer open-house times on Thursday,
Friday and Saturday so you can check out the equipment for yourself.
All this and so much more is available to you at Sherman College Lyceum 2007.
