Expert Panel Advises Students on Lending, Law and Real Estate

College hosted its first annual Career Diversity event on Wednesday, August 2,
2007. The event offered students the opportunity to address experts in the
fields of mortgage lending, law, and real estate with questions regarding
practice management.
The special guest panelists included Scott Crutchfield, Senior Commercial
Lending officer with Atlas Mortgage; Rappy Williams, certified Residential
Specialist with Remax; Debra McGowan, Senior Loan officer with Atlas Mortgage;
and David Tinsley, a counselor with Clemson University Small Business
Development Center.
The event was the first of its kind hosted by the Diversity Committee and was
well received by students and faculty. The Diversity Committee continues to seek
out new and innovative ways to reach out to the student body.
