--------------------------------------------------------- |
|
| |
Sherman
College was well represented at the 22nd Annual William G. Blair Conference in
Seattle September 28-30, 2007. College President Jon Schwartzbauer, D.C., two
faculty members and 12 Sherman students made the trip. Sherman alumni from
around the country were also in attendance.
Schwartzbauer is a member of the Blair Society Board of Trustees and has taught
the Blair adjusting course at Sherman for several years. Faculty member Perry
Rush, D.C., is a Certified Blair Instructor and taught a session at the
conference. Another Sherman faculty member, Stephanie Johnson, D.C., received
faculty certification at the conference.
The convention organizer was Michael Lenarz, D.C., a Sherman graduate and author
of Chiropractic Way, the first chiropractic book of its kind printed by a major
publisher.
Schwartzbauer and Rush were both recognized for their work in the Blair Society
by being named Blair Chiropractor of the Year, an honor they will share.
Shawntria Harris, a Sherman student and president of the college’s Blair Club,
was awarded a scholarship by the Blair Society.
