On January 12, Sherman College was involved in a groundbreaking chiropractic event place in Lima, Peru. The Peruvian Chiropractic Alliance (PCA) organized its first seminar open to all doctors of chiropractic practicing in Peru. Fifteen doctors of chiropractic participated in the program on the philosophy of chiropractic conducted by Sherman Executive Vice President/Provost Dr. Myron D. Brown.  Read more

Weeks Elected to Commission on Accreditation of the CCE

Sherman’s Vice President for Planning, Assessment and Enrollment Services Laura Chadwick Weeks, D.C., has been elected to the Commission on Accreditation of the Council on Chiropractic Education (COA/CCE) for a three-year term which began in January. Weeks was elected as the Commission’s CCE accredited program employee representative. Read more

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) Commission on Colleges continued Sherman’s accreditation at its December 2007 meeting, but placed the college on warning for failure to comply with Core Requirement 2.12 (Quality Enhancement Plan). Read more.
