Tim Revels

Sherman Vice President for Business & Finance Timothy D. Revels, B.S., C.P.A.

Sherman Vice President for Business and Finance Timothy D. Revels, B.S., C.P.A., has been named to the Academy of Site Team Visitors of the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE). His three-year term began in May 2008.

Academy members review chiropractic institutions and programs in a variety of areas, such as finances, facilities, and financial aid; governance and administration; basic science faculty and instruction in the doctor of chiropractic program; and core clinic training, clinic experience and management, competency assessment, and service.

According to CCE, to be appointed to the academy, applicants must provide evidence of current or past employment in a full-time position or retirement from years of service; demonstrate writing skills to convey site team findings; demonstrate integrity, objectivity, and fairness; demonstrate professional responsibility and sound judgment; demonstrate the ability to work as a team member and as an individual; be willing to attend training sessions; be available to serve on a minimum of one site team visit annually, if needed; and maintain confidentiality.

Members of the academy are trained to identify strengths and areas in need of improvement in chiropractic programs and to validate a program that complies with existing accreditation standards. Revels attended Site Team Training in Scottsdale, AZ, earlier this year.
