The college held its first Sherman Pride Tour October 23-24, welcoming prospective students and their guests who were interested in learning more about chiropractic and Sherman College.

They were able to tour campus, sit in on a technique class, learn about chiropractic and our health center, participate in a spinal screening and experience our digital X-ray suites. We even took them on a Ghost Trolley Tour of downtown Spartanburg!
We all had a wonderful time getting to know some future chiropractors during the Pride Tour event. Some were already sure they are coming to Sherman, but for some undecided others, like Myron Gudmondson from Snohomish, WA, this visit made quite an impact. Here’s what he had to say:

“I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the school, the town, the staff, the students, the philosophy and the opportunity! I can’t remember ever visiting a place and feeling more welcome...or at home.  As soon as I left the school on Friday, I missed it. I felt like I was leaving new friends behind.

“I’ll probably visit a couple more schools, just to be sure, but I believe Sherman will be a tough act to follow. Between the friendliness of the people (which any aspiring chiropractor could benefit from acquiring), the individual attention afforded by the low student-to-teacher ratio, the straight philosophy, the tranquil setting, and the low cost of living, I can't conceive of a better place to embark upon my chiropractic journey. Previous to my visit, I was resolved in my decision to become a chiropractor but Sherman lit a fire in me!

We had a great time hosting this event and look forward to having the second Pride of Sherman Tour next year. If you weren't able to attend this event (or if you’d like to send a student) please consider scheduling a personal visit.  We would love to meet you and show you around our beautiful campus.
