Sherman College Receives Grant from the Alumni Association
Naturally, the Sherman College Alumni Association takes an interest in general campus happenings, but one project in particular recently caught the Association’s interest – the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). The Association decided to support the project with a generous grant of $5,250, enough to help fund the first-year implementation of the QEP. Read more...
New Year! New CSI Game!
The QEP Management Committee is sponsoring another Case Study Instruction (CSI) game. Last fall, students participated in the "What's Wrong with John Porter?" CSI game where groups of students followed John Porter's "case" and submitted case studies based on "clues" given by the Case Management Faculty Learning Community. Last year's grand prize winners of $200 were Eric Clark, Jessica Tumblin, Shavahn Whetstone, and Anthony Witherspoon.
This year's version of the game is "What's Wrong with Charlotte Babb?" CSI game will begin Monday, April 6th. Students will form groups to compete for the grand prize of $200, with runner-up prize of $100. Participants will be entered in a drawing to win an adjusting table. Wedding Bells Ring at Sherman

Staff members of the Registrar and Financial Aid Offices at Sherman are usually involved in some of the day-to-day happenings of students’ lives, but Monday, March 16, 2009, proved to be a truly special day at the office when Sherman student John Allen and his fiancée, Jessica Lloyd, were married by Registrar Gail Pittman, who is also a notary.

Sherman College classes of 1979, ’84, ’89, ’94, ’99 and 2004 and Penn Straight classes of 1984, '89 and ’94 will gather for a reunion reception at the Spartanburg Marriott on Friday, May 22, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Reminisce about your college days and renew old friendships
The Alumni Association Annual Meeting will be held Friday, May 22, at 12:30-2:00 p.m. in the Bahan Library and is free to current members, including first- and second-year graduates.
Friday night fun at the downtown Marriott with Mission IMPROVable comedy group followed by fireworks.
