SCCA Recognizes Sherman Regent, Alumnus and President

At the the SCCA Annual Convention Awards Banquet, held on August 15, 2009 in Myrtle Beach, SC, several awards were given to members of the Sherman Pride family. Regent Greg P. Lonscak, D.C. was awarded the Presidential Cup and Chiropractor of the Year for 2009. Brian Quattlebaum, D.C., a 2005 graduate, was awarded the Young Chiropractor of the year for 2009. President Jon Schwartzbauer, D.C., was awarded the Friend of Chirorpractic Award.

Alumni Association Encourages New Interns

The Sherman College Alumni Association Treasurer Dr. Claudia Seay, and Director of Alumni Relations Marggi Roldan met with the newest interns recently to introduce them to the Alumni Association organization and gift them with a business card case.

Over a continental breakfast, the two explained how the association supports student and college projects, and extended a helping hand by encouraging the interns to use their business cards to develop their future practice in the Chiropractic Health Center on campus.


Shadow an Intern Day

The Enrollment Services Team celebrated summer by hosting another Shadow an Intern Day on Thursday, July 30th.  We welcomed 14 participants, four of whom will be starting Sherman in the fall, to campus so they could experience a “day in the life” of a Sherman Intern. Read More...

A Conference on Advances in

Advances in Chiropractic Science and Philosophy takes center stage at Sherman College October 16-18, 2009, for the sixth annual International Research and Philosophy Symposium (IRAPS), which is presented on Sherman’s campus in South Carolina. Featured speakers are Jeffrey L. Kasser, Ph.D., Instructor of philosophy at Colorado State University and Bob Blanks, Ph.D., Professor in the Department of Biomedical Science at Florida Atlantic University and professor emeritus at the University of California Irvine.
