Shadow an Intern Day

The Enrollment Services Team celebrated summer by hosting another Shadow an Intern Day on Thursday, July 30th.  We welcomed 14 participants, four of whom will be starting Sherman in the fall, to campus so they could experience a “day in the life” of a Sherman Intern.  Along with the invaluable time spent with their interns, the participants also had lunch with faculty and staff, learned about the intern curriculum with Dr. Claudia Seay and were treated to a power point presentation on digital X-ray by Dr. Laura Greene-Orndorff.   

We also have a new forum for communication between Sherman College and our prospective students and applicants – the on-line chat!  These informal chats are a great way for current students, faulty and alumni to connect with our prospective students from the comfort of their own home or office!  We have already hosted three chats this summer including our most recent chat where students had the opportunity to chat with President Schwartzbauer!  Alumni – don’t miss your chance to chat with our prospective students.  Contact the Admission Office if you would like to participate in our Practice Management Tips Chat scheduled for October.

Finally, fall is just around the corner and that means it’s almost time for our Pride of Sherman Tour!  This 2-day event scheduled for November 2-3 is just another opportunity for our prospective students and applicants to experience Sherman College and the outstanding chiropractic education we offer.  If you know someone who is interested in becoming a chiropractor please refer them to our offices so we can help them reach their goal.
