The First Rocky Mountain Summit
Sherman College would like to thank Dr. Kevin Wilmot of Kalispell, MT, for organizing and donating the proceeds of the First Annual Rocky Mountain Summit, held on July 27, 2013.
Dr. Wilmot says that planning is already underway for next year’s event and several speakers are already booked, including Sherman President Dr. Edwin Cordero, Dr. Sam Selimo, Dr. Bob Tarantino, Dr. Liam Schubel, Dr. Matt Hubbard, and Dr. Tory Robson. Baby Designed by God Released
by President Circle Members
Regents and President's Circle members Drs. Amanda and Jeremy Hess have written Baby Designed by God by to empower and enlighten mothers and fathers from all backgrounds and belief systems that our bodies are wonderfully and magnificently made and have the ability to heal and be whole from the inside-out.
Revealing and dramatic birth stories intertwined throughout the book, including both of Dr. Amanda’s homebirths, will increase the reader’s knowledge, perspective and faith on the subject of hospital and home birthing options.
Drs. Amanda & Jeremy Hess founded and currently operate a busy chiropractic practice in Georgia and are both members of the Georgia Council of Chiropractic, ICPA, IFCO, National Vaccine Information Center and lifetime members of the ICA.
They live in Lake Spivey, GA, with their children, Alyssa and Gabriel.

Tour de Paws Fundraiser
Tour de Paws is an annual fund raiser for the Spartanburg Humane Society held in September. Several Sherman representatives raced, including Erin and Chris Collins, Dr. Bill Decken, John Haslett and Christina Judon. Not pictured but also riding was Michael Epperson.
LCW Philosophy Evening Oct 12
Saturday, October 12 at 4:30pm at Sherman College.
Speakers include Drs. Irene Gold, Morgan Handt, Bill Decken, Jennifer Brandon, Josh and Benna Click, Rose Lepien, Richelle Knowles, . Tim Warner, Nalyn Marcus, April Warhola and CA Cori Moore. Dinner will be served, and a raffle will be provided by the clubs of Sherman College as well as several outside sources.
Come connect with doctors from around the country as they tell their chiropractic stories. Advance tickets are $10 students, $15 for D.C.s; tickets at the door are $15 for students, $20 for D.C.s.

Sherman Co-Ed Softball Team Wins League Title
The Sherman Co-ed Softball team took first place honors in the Spartanburg County Parks & Rec Fall Softball League with a record of nine wins and one loss during August and September.
Additionally, the team captured first place in the league tournament culminating in an exciting pair of games on September 12. The championship game went 11 innings, with Andy Padden providing the game-winning base hit in the top of the 11th to push Sherman ahead with a final score of 12-10.
