The Sherman PRIDE

Larry says Hi!

A lion stands for truth, strength and leadership.

The Sherman PRIDE is not just a slogan or a mascot. It's a symbol and statement of the sense of family that we share at Sherman--faculty, students, alumni, staff and the chiropractic community are all part of that PRIDE. At Sherman, everyone knows your name. You get personal attention from faculty members, and you bond with your quarter-mates. Roar for Sherman

The PRIDE offers many student clubs with opportunities to get involved with upper or lower quarter students and with the local community and alumni. These opportunities for networking and learning help you find your best path in chiropractic. Sign up for the PRIDE of Sherman tour on Nov. 9-10, 2012.

Our PRIDE includes our primary mission, which is being the leader in bringing chiropractic to the world by educating, graduating and supporting chiropractors who are compassionate, competent, ethical and successful.

ROAR for ShermanThat is truly a goal we can take PRIDE in. Alumni, show your PRIDE by being a member of our ROAR program to recruit future chiropractors.

Our Mascot, Larry Lion, (be his Facebook friend!) loves to visit at student events, Lyceum and local career fairs when he can work it into his schedule.

Steve Nutty

After looking around and talking with practicing DCs I decided that I wanted to learn to be an expert adjuster, and Sherman is the place to do that.

Favorite thing about Sherman College:
The people, faculty, staff, and students!! The weather isn’t too bad either.

Most challenging thing about Sherman College:
Time management, 8 hours of class a day, monotony of the first year or so.

Advice for students choosing chiropractic as a career and/or coming to Sherman College:
Get involved. In and out of school, take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself. Engross yourself in the experience of chiropractic school.
