Graduate Donates $1,000 Scholarship

Sherman graduate and National Board of Chiropractic Examiners board member Lawrence O’Connor, D.C., has donated a $1,000 scholarship to Sherman College for a student in financial need. He bid on and secured a scholarship of $1,000 from the NBCE at an auction and then donated the scholarship to Sherman to be awarded in his name. The college’s scholarship committee has met and selected a grateful student in financial need, per Dr. Lawrence’s request, to receive the award. Thank you, Dr. Lawrence!

Greg Brown

Gregory Brown, who was selected for the scholarship, says he is “truly humbled and beyond grateful for what Dr. O’Connor has done for me and my family.” Brown says the gift has inspired him to do the same for another student in the future when he is able.
