Used Star X-ray Lightbox, selling as is. 28.5” x 21” metal lightbox/illuminator with removable plastic front, 4 fluorescent bulbs, and 4 foot cord. Unit works but has a hum when the lights are turned on. Sometimes the “on” buttons have to be pressed multiple times for all lights to come on. Unit is approximately 20 lbs, and can be mounted to a wall (recommended) or stood upright on a table (may topple easily due to weight). Several superficial scratches to metal and plastic, but no dents or cracks. Some paint has been scratched off the top edges of the unit.
Obtained the unit approximately a year ago from Sherman giving away their used x-ray equipment and it has been gathering dust inside. Was originally intending to use the unit as an alternative light source but it is too big and the hum is too loud for me. Offering to give this lightbox away before taking it to the recycle center. Unit will need to be picked up in Boiling Springs, SC area.
