On January 9, despite exceptionally heavy rain, Sherman College students started the new quarter with enthusiasm. The days following included a new student orientation and a welcome back lunch for all students, which appropriately served hot soup. Everyone also received a cozy, long-sleeve shirt to celebrate the beginning of a new quarter. "It's a top priority to foster a welcoming environment, and the smiles of gratitude are so rewarding," said Sherman Registrar Melody Sabin, who is shown handing out shirts with Assistant Registrar Paula Foster in the photo below.
