One of the best opportunities for prospective students to learn about Sherman College and experience what it's like to be a "Shermie" is to attend a Showcase Sherman weekend! It's an amazing, hands-on, energy-filled weekend, all about chiropractic, what makes Sherman special, and why Sherman is THE premier college for a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. This summer's July 26-27 Showcase weekend was no exception!
“We hosted 35 prospective students plus their guests for two full days of activities, and so far, 23 of those who attended have applied or have been accepted,” explains Sherman’s Associate Vice President for Enrollment Services, Kendra Strange. “Others have several years before they join us, in 2026 or 2027, but we are confident that Sherman College left a memorable impression, and they will apply when it’s time."
Five chiropractors accompanied their children to Showcase, and one of those five was a Sherman graduate. What a testament to Sherman’s influence and reputation that these non-Sherman graduating doctors are encouraging their sons and daughters to consider attending Sherman College. One of those chiropractors became a ROAR member.
“Thank you to Dr. Nicholas Hannouche ’13, a local ROAR member who attended Showcase Weekend,” adds Ms. Strange. “ROAR members can learn so much about this important recruiting weekend by attending. It’s also a great opportunity for prospective students to meet DCs to learn about their personal experiences and what it’s like to open a practice or become an associate following graduation.”
