For the third consecutive year, Sherman College of Chiropractic was recognized by the Oklahaven Children’s Chiropractic Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for the unwavering support of the center’s annual Have-A-Heart campaign. Oklahaven President and CEO Dr. Bobby Doscher presented the 2024 Golden Heart Award to Sherman’s Dean of Clinics, Dr. Brian Dooley and President, Dr. Jack Bourla, on September 5 at the college’s Chiropractic Center.
“We are proud to be the recipient of this award and your life-changing work, Dr. Bobby,” said Dr. Bourla. “Thank you for being here with us today and sharing your experiences helping children in the US and worldwide. Your devotion to teaching others that the body can heal itself through chiropractic adjustments is inspirational and the core of what we teach and practice at Sherman.”
“The college’s support is greatly appreciated, and it has helped the most profoundly hurt children on their journey to health and showing the world they can be well,” explained Dr. Doscher. “The work you do heals children and is a living testimony of the power of chiropractic.”
The Golden Heart Award is presented to the chiropractic college and clinic that raises the most funds for Oklahaven and its mission of healing children through chiropractic and educating parents on the chiropractic way of life. Sherman College’s Network Club led the fundraiser and worked with the Sherman Chiropractic Center to collect funds for this year’s campaign.
