Sherman Students Receive Scholarships |
Sherman College students Kialine Denis and Sophie Sherman were recently awarded scholarships to support their pursuit of a doctor of chiropractic degree.
Kialine, a fifth-quarter student, received the Eula Sherman scholarship from Altrusa International, Inc. of Spartanburg, a volunteer service organization dedicated to raising the education level of Spartanburg County residents. The scholarship, established in memory of Mrs. Sherman, a founding member of Altrusa of Spartanburg, assists non-traditional students who are Spartanburg County residents enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education.
Sophie Sherman, a 10th-quarter student, received a scholarship from the World Congress of Women Chiropractors for outstanding leadership and responsibility qualities and community service participation. WCWC, a professional association dedicated to the empowerment of women in the chiropractic profession, awards annual scholarships to deserving chiropractic students. |
Congratulations, Kialine & Sophie! |

Mark your calendars for the 2025 Berkshire Experience, where chiropractors from around the world gather annually for a three-day event featuring distinguished experts and enlightening presentations on the philosophy, science, art, research, and business of chiropractic. Dr. Scott Garber will host the 2025 event, which will take place in Mexico City from April 3 to 5 at the Hotel Camino Real Polanco.
Featuring simultaneous translation (English to Spanish and Spanish to English), the event is a unique opportunity to meet and empower Latin American chiropractors, plus network with old and new colleagues.
Dr. Garber says the event’s mission goes beyond sharing knowledge; it’s about making an impact. Conference costs are covered, ensuring that every dollar from sponsorships and ticket sales is directly reinvested in chiropractic, specifically supporting Sherman College of Chiropractic. |
