Commenting on her appointment, Dr. Mills expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to lead the Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation into a new era of growth and impact. "I am deeply honored to join the FVS in its mission to advance the understanding and recognition of vertebral subluxation. In this new role, I am committed to driving positive change and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence while recognizing the increasing significance of literature that advances our profession."
“Watching Brooke graduate and flourish has been truly inspiring,” said Dr. Jack Bourla, president of Sherman College of Chiropractic. “She is the epitome of an outstanding Sherman graduate and now a chiropractor: She is articulate and resolute in her understanding of the philosophy, science and art of chiropractic; she cares deeply for her patients, and she is dedicated to sharing her love for chiropractic and Sherman across the world. We take immense pride in Dr. Mills’ success and eagerly anticipate her influence within chiropractic and beyond.”
Mills grew up in a chiropractic family and has followed in her mother’s footsteps, Dr. Stephanie Foisy Ryan, as a passionate chiropractic advocate who shares the benefits of chiropractic care in her local community, nationally and globally.
At her 2023 Sherman graduation, Dr. Mills received many prestigious Sherman accolades, including being selected as a graduation speaker, recipient of the B.J. Palmer Philosophy Award and the Service Distinction Award. Most recently, she received the Sherman 2024 Lyceum Service to the Profession award.
Dr. Mill’s advocacy extends beyond chiropractic care; in 2023, she made history as Miss New Hampshire by becoming the first chiropractor to grace the Miss America stage. In addition, she is dedicated to serving the brain injury community by drawing from her own experience with a mild traumatic brain injury in 2014. Through her school program, "Choose Health," she promotes healthy lifestyle choices, while her practice focuses on providing subluxation-based chiropractic care to families. Her commitment to service and advocacy exemplifies her dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
