Sherman Faculty Shine at New Beginnings Conference: Dedicated to Advancing the Chiropractic Philosophy |
|
|
Sherman College faculty and staff proudly attended the New Beginnings Conference, Oct. 17-20, in Asbury Park, New Jersey, a philosophy-centered chiropractic weekend dedicated to advancing the core principles of the profession. New Beginnings celebrated 34 years of furthering the practice of chiropractic based on the chiropractic philosophy and the removal of vertebral subluxation.
During the event, Sherman College President Dr. Jack Bourla and Sherman Regent Dr. Bruce Steinberg received the prestigious “Philosophy of Chiropractic” (PhC) award. This distinguished recognition is awarded to a select few who demonstrate unwavering dedication to the foundational chiropractic philosophy, live a chiropractic lifestyle, and have dedicated their lives to protecting and promoting the principles of chiropractic.
The weekend featured presentations by Dr. Bourla and several other members of the Sherman community, including Dr. Brian Dooley, dean of clinic professor of clinical sciences; Dr. Sarah Hock, associate professor of clinical sciences, Chiropractic Center case doctor, and chair of pediatrics and perinatal care; Dr. Bobby Findley, instructor of clinical sciences and Chiropractic Center case doctor; and Sherman 2023 graduate Dr. Melissa Crystal.
Sherman was well-represented with our speakers delivering presentations rich in nuggets of principled chiropractic gold. Sherman College was proud to co-sponsor the speakers' and contributors' luncheon on Saturday, honoring those who invested their time and effort into making the weekend a rewarding, informative experience for all attendees. |
