A Weekend Well Spent: MLS at Sherman College |
A weekend is a terrible thing to waste—and those who attended MLS at Sherman College of Chiropractic didn’t waste a moment. From February 21-23, students and chiropractors alike had the incredible opportunity to learn from some of the best in the profession, refining their ability to evaluate, decide, act, reassess, and communicate with patients in a way that truly transforms lives. Dr. Wade Port, a gifted chiropractor and dynamic educator, brought his team to Sherman, delivering an inspiring and thought-provoking experience. Attendees left not only with sharpened skills but also with a renewed sense of purpose and a shift in consciousness that will undoubtedly impact their future practice.
For those who seized this opportunity, the weekend was more than just a seminar—it was a game-changer. Stay tuned for future events that continue to push the boundaries of chiropractic excellence! |

Dr. Russell Goff: A New Chapter in Admissions |
Dr. Russell Goff is a familiar face to many in the Sherman College community. Formerly serving as the Development Coordinator, he worked closely with donors and Regents to support the college’s mission. A 2019 graduate of Sherman College, he returned as a staff member in July 2021, and has remained dedicated to our institution ever since.
Beyond his professional role, Dr. Goff is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Jess, love spending time with their one-year-old son, Roland. Whether traveling, adventuring, or enjoying the great outdoors, they cherish every moment together.
Dr. Goff’s professional interests extend beyond his work at Sherman. He regularly attends upper cervical conferences, serves on professional committees, engages in philosophical discussions, and furthers his education through the ICPA to better serve future parents, pregnant mothers, babies, and children. |
| |
His transition to the Admissions Department has been a gradual process as the leadership team works to fill key roles within the Department of Institutional Advancement. While he continues to oversee the Regents for now, he is eager to soon shift his full focus to supporting the ROAR and alumni community.
