Sherman College Hits the Spotlight at SoFi Stadium
|
|
|
When leaders like Dr. Shawn Dill and David Meltzer host a “None of Your Business” podcast event at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, the room fills with energy, innovation, and forward-thinking professionals—and Sherman College was right in the mix.
This vibrant gathering brought together some of today’s most dynamic minds in marketing, business strategy, and social media. Young visionaries from across industries came not just to network, but to collaborate with purpose—sharing ideas, building partnerships, and sparking opportunities that reach far beyond the stadium walls.
We’re proud to share that Sherman College of Chiropractic and the Sherman College Chiropractic Center received significant attention at this nationally visible event. As the only chiropractic institution present, Sherman stood out as a beacon for principled chiropractic education, attracting curiosity, conversations, and admiration from seasoned professionals and emerging entrepreneurs alike.
Representing the college in Los Angeles this week, Dr. Jack Bourla participated in interviews and podcast appearances with the Black Diamond Club and David Meltzer, sharing Sherman’s mission, values, and the exciting work happening on campus and in our community. And yes—even in a sea of trendsetting talent and fresh-faced innovators, the “old guy” was welcomed with open arms by the next generation of changemakers. We’re grateful for the chance to raise Sherman’s profile on a national stage and look forward to the connections and collaborations that continue to grow from events like this. |

Historic Milestone: First Class Graduates from the Diplomate for the Academy
of Chiropractic Philosophers |
|
|
Sherman College is proud to celebrate a significant achievement in chiropractic education and philosophical advancement. Over the weekend of May 17, 2025, Dr. Bill Decken traveled to Auckland, New Zealand to formally recognize and graduate the inaugural class of the Diplomate for the Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers (DACP)—a major milestone in Sherman’s commitment to thought leadership and principled chiropractic education around the globe.
The DACP program represents the next level of academic and philosophical pursuit beyond the Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers (ACP). This advanced two-year program required participants to engage in rigorous reading, extensive writing, and in-depth verbal discourse. Coursework centered on the complex interplay between chiropractic philosophy and the science, art, politics, communication, and business components that shape the profession. All DACP graduates are alumni of the ACP program, bringing a strong foundation into this transformative educational experience. Back in the United States, Sherman College is currently implementing its second DACP cohort here in South Carolina, continuing the momentum of this visionary program.
Interested in advancing your chiropractic philosophy studies? Enrollment inquiries for the next ACP or DACP cohort are welcome. Please contact Cameron Ranslow at cranslow@sherman.edu for more information. | |

Exploring a New Resource for Students and Alumni: Office of Chiropractic Practice Excellence and Support |
|
|
|
Sherman College is currently assessing the need for a new initiative—the Office of Chiropractic Practice Excellence and Support—with the goal of equipping our students and graduates for long-term success in the field.
To inform this effort, Sherman students and alumni were recently invited via email to participate in a brief SurveyMonkey questionnaire. Their insights will help shape how this office can best support career development, practice readiness, mentorship opportunities, and continued professional growth.
If you're a current student or graduate and have not yet responded, please check your email or access the survey directly here.
The deadline to submit feedback is Friday, June 27, 2025. We appreciate the support of our entire community—faculty, staff, donors, and friends—as we continue building programs that uphold our mission and prepare Sherman chiropractors to lead with excellence. |

Sherman College Heads to Puerto Rico for Summer Recruitment Events |
Sherman College of Chiropractic is hosting two recruitment events in Puerto Rico in June. These events provide an excellent opportunity for prospective students to meet members of the admissions team, ask questions, and learn more about a rewarding career in chiropractic.
The first event will be held on Wednesday, June 18, at the Aloft Hotel in Ponce, followed by a second event on Friday, June 20, at the Campo Bravo Restaurant at Rio Bayamon Golf Club. Both sessions run from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and include light refreshments.
These in-person events are part of Sherman’s ongoing commitment to building connections in diverse communities and welcoming students from across the globe. Sherman has a strong tradition of supporting Puerto Rican students, and we’re excited to continue fostering interest in chiropractic education throughout the island.
If you know someone in Puerto Rico who is curious about chiropractic or considering their next step in education, we invite you to share this opportunity with them. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
