Rooted in Purpose, Radiating Excellence: Sherman at DE July 2025 |
A Reflection from Dr. Jack Bourla, President, Sherman College of Chiropractic |
Dynamic Essentials (DE) July 2025 brought together incredible speakers, an incredible audience, 11 Sherman students, one Sherman faculty member, and pure joy to all.
When heart, mind, chiropractic philosophy, and a desire to change the world come together, you can expect goodness—and that’s exactly what we experienced.
There was a sense of rawness that emerged in almost every talk this past weekend. Our Sherman students stood out as exemplary human beings whose maturity and commitment to excellence were noticed by all. I was proud—though not at all surprised—to receive numerous compliments about their attentiveness, kindness, participation, and energy.
Dynamic Essentials meets quarterly in either Florida or Georgia and offers a community of supportive, committed, and principled chiropractors who live the Lasting Purpose: to give, to love, and to serve out of our own abundance with no expectation of anything in return.
Get to DE and see for yourself. www.lifede.com. You’ll be glad you did. |

Intern of the Month Spotlight: Matthew Danze |
Cheers to Matthew Danze, the shining star of the Sherman College Chiropractic Center and our June Intern of the Month! A 13th-quarter intern from Charlotte, NC, Matthew has been recognized for his exceptional dedication, compassionate care, and unwavering commitment to the principles of chiropractic.
“I am incredibly grateful and blessed to have been selected Intern of the Month. I must start by thanking God, because without His grace, nothing would be possible.
I have immense gratitude for my case doctor, Dr. Gwen Gardner. Without her support, I would not be in the position that I am in today. In addition, I would like to give thanks to all the Sherman faculty, my patients, my family, and friends that have helped me along my journey through chiropractic school.
It is truly a blessing to be able to serve the local community through subluxation-focused chiropractic care. I look forward to carrying the principles Sherman has instilled within me, so that I can become the best chiropractic practitioner that I can possibly be.”
Following graduation, Matthew plans to return to Charlotte and begin practice as an associate. We are proud to celebrate his accomplishments and know he will continue to serve with excellence and purpose. Congratulations, Matthew! |
