Sherman Team Unites at Walk to End Alzheimers

On Saturday, Oct. 26, Sherman students, faculty, staff, family and friends walked together in Downtown Spartanburg to raise awareness and show support for the fight against Alzheimer’s. On October 25, Sherman College transformed a parking lot into a festive Halloween haven for the community. Faculty, staff, and students decorated trunks in creative themes to bring Halloween magic to our third annual Trunk or Treat event. Thanks to our Sherman community's spooky setups and interactive games, 438 children and a total of 725 guests enjoyed an evening on our Sherman campus filled with laughter and games. At one point, there was “standing room only,” as a long line of guests patiently waited to visit the trunks. Thank you to the 38 faculty, staff and students who decorated trunks, and congrats to the winners in the trunk decorating contest!
