Sherman College of Chiropractic is led by a visionary group of chiropractors and other professionals who are dedicated to carrying out the college’s mission, goals, and objectives to educate chiropractors, to conduct chiropractic research, and to serve humanity with high-quality chiropractic care. 

The following is a list of the dedicated men and women who generously give of their time and resources with the common purpose of advancing chiropractic and strengthening Sherman College.

Lisa Lanzara-Bazzani, D.C.

Trustee, Chair

Dr. Lisa Lanzara-Bazzani is a 1992 Sherman graduate. Lanzara-Bazzani is a second-generation family chiropractor and has been in private full-time practice serving Nashua, NH.
Richelle Knowles, D.C.

Trustee, Vice Chair

Sherman graduate, co-founder of Network Family Wellness Center, Mile High Chiropractic Movement, and Lifetime Wellness Practice, and recipient of the 2019 Distinguished Service Award from Sherman.
Steve Tullius, D.C., A.C.P.

Trustee, Secretary

Dr. Steve Tullius is a pediatric chiropractor who focuses on providing chiropractic care to infants, children, and families. He is the founder of Waitlist Workshops

Shawn Dill, D.C.

Trustee

Graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic, Dr. Dill established one of the largest upper cervical practices in the world and became a noted authority in the Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic.
Frank J. Hahn, D.C.

Trustee

Sherman graduate, owner of Chiropractic LifeCenter, and serves on the board of the Garden State Chiropractic Society and International Chiropractors Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations.
Matthew McCoy, D.C., MPH

Trustee

CEO and co-founder of ChiroFutures and actively engaged in research in such areas as health outcomes, pediatric and maternal health, and outcome assessment.
José R. Salgado, D.C.

Trustee

Dr. Salgado is a 1992 Northwestern College of Chiropractic graduate and has been in private practice for 29 years in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico
Joseph Makhandal Champagne, Jr., Esq.

Trustee

Mr. Champagne earned his juris doctor degree from Vermont Law School. Upon graduation, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Wendell E. Daniels, J.S.C.
Charles Hodge, Esq.

Trustee

Mr. “Charlie” Hodge has lived in Spartanburg, South Carolina most of his life and has been in active law practice for over forty-one years.
Eric Franco, B.A.

Trustee

Mr. Eric Franco comes to the Board of Trustees with over 40 years of experience in the workforce, focusing on financial analysis and risk assessment, client services, and business development.

Shape the Future of Chiropractic Education: Apply for Board Service at Sherman College of Chiropractic

The Sherman College Board of Trustees is accepting applications for new members to help advance its mission of providing exceptional preparation for the location, analysis, and adjustment of vertebral subluxation. As a trustee, you will play a crucial role in shaping the college’s strategic direction, setting policy priorities, and enhancing its impact on chiropractic education. This is a unique opportunity to serve a minimum four-year term and contribute to the long-term growth of the profession and community. The board, currently comprised of eleven members, is responsible for strategic planning and upholding the organization’s fiduciary responsibilities.

The Process:

The Nominations Committee thoroughly reviews all applications to select candidates for interviews. Following the interviews, the committee convenes to finalize the slate of candidates to be presented to the Board. All applications are made available for review by the Board. Once the Board has voted, all candidates who have applied will be contacted with the outcome.

The Process:
  • Applicants may apply online from September 2024 – November 8, 2024
  • After the submission deadline, the Nominations Committee will review all applicants and will schedule interviews with qualified candidates before determining the final ballot in accordance with the Sherman College of Chiropractic Bylaws.
  • The Nominations Committee develops a slate of prospective board members that embodies Sherman College’s commitment to diversity in leadership, encompassing chiropractic background, professional experience, and other demographic factors. The Committee also considers additional aspects of representation, such as candidates’ dedication to actively engaging with the Board of Trustees and their relevant expertise within the broader community.
