Sherman College of Chiropractic is led by a visionary group of chiropractors and other professionals who are dedicated to carrying out the college’s mission, goals, and objectives to educate chiropractors, to conduct chiropractic research, and to serve humanity with high-quality chiropractic care.
The following is a list of the dedicated men and women who generously give of their time and resources with the common purpose of advancing chiropractic and strengthening Sherman College.
The Sherman College Board of Trustees is accepting applications for new members to help advance its mission of providing exceptional preparation for the location, analysis, and adjustment of vertebral subluxation. As a trustee, you will play a crucial role in shaping the college’s strategic direction, setting policy priorities, and enhancing its impact on chiropractic education. This is a unique opportunity to serve a minimum four-year term and contribute to the long-term growth of the profession and community. The board, currently comprised of eleven members, is responsible for strategic planning and upholding the organization’s fiduciary responsibilities.
The Nominations Committee thoroughly reviews all applications to select candidates for interviews. Following the interviews, the committee convenes to finalize the slate of candidates to be presented to the Board. All applications are made available for review by the Board. Once the Board has voted, all candidates who have applied will be contacted with the outcome.
Joining our board offers you a unique opportunity to shape the future of Sherman College of Chiropractic and make a significant impact. As a board member, you will bring your expertise in fiduciary financial oversight to ensure our financial health and compliance, contributing to our long-term success. Serving up to two four-year terms on the board, you will be a part of an actively involved team, volunteering an average of 3-5 hours a month and become a Sherman Regent. This role allows you to collaborate with a diverse and dynamic group of professionals, fostering innovation and driving meaningful initiatives. You will also serve on at least one committee, with options including Audit & Finance, Academic Affairs, Nominations, and Governance. Additionally, expenses incurred for meetings can be submitted to the Board Assistant for reimbursement or towards your regent status. By serving on our board, you will not only advance your professional aspirations but also play a crucial role in supporting our mission and vision.
