Larry Celebrates with Carolina Miracle League Sherman College mascot Larry the Lion recently joined fellow mascots from other colleges and many other community members and families to celebrate 15 years of Carolina Miracle League. Sherman College students and employees have a strong history of involvement with Carolina Miracle League. The college sponsors a team and has traditionally had quite a few students and faculty members serving as buddies in the league, which embraces the belief that "every child deserves a chance to play baseball."
Oklahaven Recognizes Sherman College for "Have a Heart" Support The children's chiropractic center Oklahaven has recognized Sherman College for its support during this year's "Have-A-Heart" campaign. Oklahaven's College Award is presented to the chiropractic college and the clinic that raises the most funds for Oklahaven and its mission of healing children through chiropractic and educating parents on the chiropractic way of life.
Sherman College's Network Club led the fundraiser and worked with the Health Center to collect $2,671 for this year's event, held February 7-14. Donations were represented and displayed with red hearts. Network Club's Brooke Jackson led the effort and said she was happy to exceed the club's goal this year. Oklahaven announced winners earlier this month, sharing that contributors' support was greatly appreciated and that it "has helped the most profoundly hurt children on their journey to health and showing the world they can be well."

Student Ambassador Spotlight: Education: B.S. in Health Science
Why Chiropractic: I want to help people become the best possible versions of themselves and reach their full innate potential.
Favorite thing about Sherman: The close-knit community!
Favorite thing about the Upstate: I'd have to go with downtown Greenville. I went to undergrad there and fell in love with it! The Upstate is also a great spot due to its proximity to a lot of different areas like mountains and beaches.
About Our Ambassadors: The Student Ambassadors are a select group of students committed to representing the vision and mission of Sherman College.
