Dr. Tony Duke, who was a devoted and beloved member of Sherman's faculty for 37 years, passed away in 2020. However, his legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, in and out of the classroom. On September 28, the Sherman College Alumni Association planted a beautiful Autumn Blaze Red Maple tree in front of the Scallon Building as a living memorial to Dr. Duke. The leaves have already changed color and now appear as a brilliant, fiery red. A skilled landscaper and gardener, Dr. Duke's love for creating beauty outdoors is reflected in the tree. His lifelong commitment to teaching students to become skilled chiropractors lives on.
