Sherman College Announces Leadership Promotions & New Hires

Spartanburg, SC – Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina, is pleased to announce the promotions and hiring of key executive leadership team members. Dr. Karen Canup was recently named executive vice president, and David Bedford was named vice president for finance and campus operations. Joining the Sherman team are Gabe Hollingsworth as vice president for strategic enrollment management and Bruce Rosengrant as vice president for advancement.

Sherman College of Chiropractic's Vice President for Finance and Campus Operations, David BedfordDavid Bedford has served Sherman College with dedication for nearly 12 years, bringing strong leadership and strategic insight to our financial and operational functions. In his new role as vice president for finance and campus operations, he will continue to enhance our campus facilities and support future expansion. His commitment to excellence and the college’s mission make this promotion well-deserved.

Sherman College of Chiropractic's Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management, Gabe HollingsworthAs Sherman’s new Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management, Gabe Hollingsworth brings a wealth of experience in enrollment strategy, student services, and team leadership, along with a genuine passion for higher education and service. His commitment to student success and innovative approach will be a tremendous asset as Sherman continues to grow and share the message of chiropractic. Hollingsworth received a Bachelor of Arts in education and a Master of Human Resource Development from Clemson University. Before joining Sherman, he served as the senior director of enrollment at Erskine College in Due West, SC. At Erskine, Hollingsworth served with and led a team of enrollment staff and integrated student services staff. He served on the President’s Cabinet and founded Erskine Central, a one-stop integrated student services function.

Sherman College of Chiropractic's Vice President for Advancement, Bruce RosengrantNamed Sherman’s Vice President for Advancement, Bruce Rosengrant brings over 33 years of experience in higher education, with oversight of college fundraising initiatives as well as other external relations components benefiting Sherman’s fiscal and operational activities. Previously, Rosengrant held executive-level positions, including vice president for advancement at Adams State University (CO), vice chancellor for advancement at Fayetteville State University (NC), and chief development officer at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he helped guide a successful $150 million capital campaign. Additionally, Rosengrant held senior director-level fundraising positions at Columbia University, Penn State, and Washington State University. Mr. Rosengrant earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications and a Master of Arts degree in communication studies, both from Bloomsburg University (PA).
